Ive been on ar15.com for many years and since this ban scare ive noticed the EE has gotten out of control.

Meaning: "some" people are just posting their Ads anywhere they feel like now. Ive seen mags for sale in the accessory category... mags in lower-parts category...stripped lowers in the lower-parts category..lowers in the firearms category.

Theres a lower for lowers

Theres a mags for mags

Theres a firearms for firearms

Theres accessories for accessories

Geesh is it that hard to read or does the mere thought of making cash make you illiterate

I watched one guy post his lower in three different categories only to be locked each time (thanks mods). Its nice to have it organized..where stuff belongs.

Mods thank you for trying to keep it organized

not really. i overpaid for something, but guess what? i earned that money, and i wanted that item right now. it did not affect anyone other than the seller and myself. we are both satisfied with the deal.

where is the harm in that?

I feel sorry for the EE mods. The shenanigans they're dealing with now and I'm sure what's to come with welchers will be a lot of work.

Honestly, the onslaught of new users is really irking me.

I'm not saying they are all bad, but for fucks sake........

the 90 day quarantine forum would be a good idea........that way they could get a handle on wtf is going on before they start 1000 who's got ar/mags/bulleets in stock or would you trade xxxx right for xxxxx.??? threads

Some forums have an "X amount of posts" before using the EE type of format. In light of recent happenings, it might not be a bad idea.

I hadn't noticed that but the tire kickers are killing me. I've had 3 different guys offer M1As for a rifle I am trading.

Guy 1: I've got x with y and z I would like to trade for your rifle package.
Me: I'm very interested can you get me pics.
Guy 1: Will do when I get home.
The next day I decide to take a trip buy where guy 1 lives.
Me: Hey can you get me those pics. I'm gonna be that way soon and would like to hammer this out.
Guy 1: Oh I thought about it and I;ve got to much in this to trade.
Me: WTF? You contacted me.

Guy 2: I've got 2 M1As I'll trade either one, I'm an hour from you, give me a call this evening at 6 pm.
I'll call and leave a message. Guy dosen't call back for 24 hours.
Me: Hello
Guy 2: This is guy 2 calling about that M1A I was gonna trade you. I decided to give it to my nephew.
Me: WTF?

Guy 3: I'm located near you. Send me your email addy and I'll send pics. I'd like to work out a trade
me: heres my email.
2 days latter still no pics.

I hate tire kickers.

It's going to be a real clusterfuck shortly, look at all the new members whose first or second post is selling high demand items with vague descriptions and no pics... and people who should know better are buying within seconds

Gonna be a lot of folks burned I think

i agree with you, i would still buy something if i liked it enough, im talking about the floods of people wanting 100 bucks for each pmag, and i agree with the OP on the fact that people are just posting in the wrong categories too

I had more guys welch on sales in the EE in the last week, then combined in the last 4 years.

Example: Dude IM or emails me stating he will take an item. Then never answers repeated attempts to contact. Almost all have 0 feedback and accounts started Dec 2012. Real pain in the ass because then you are stuck waiting to hear back before bumping the add.

If this keeps up, the ARfcom will be like the Sturmgewehr dot com before long!

That's not a bad idea. I'm sure there would be some who spam the forums with +1 posts just to reach the minimum number.

Could also have a 60 day waiting period before being able to use the EE for new members.
Upgrade to a team member for immediate use of the EE.
