1) bring a non gun owner shooting. Preferably one who just goes by what the media reports.
    A) my wife before I took her for handgun certification was scared to death of guns. Now she understands that they are not dangerous if handled correctly.

2) Join NRA and have that person above join as well.

It comes down to educating the uneducated.  Lots of people don't know any better than to believe the media.

It's our obligation to correct this.

Seems like our elected leaders have been motivating many non-gun owners to become gun owners.

Good points though. Every gun owner should be an NRA member.
