For once, Your Wonkette presents a story from Florida that is not calculated to leave you shaking your head and saying, “Effin’ Florida, man.” After the massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, a pawn shop owner in Seminole F-L-A has decided to get out of the gun-reselling business. Frank James, owner of Loanstar Jewelry and Pawn, said that as he watched the news of the Newtown shootings, “I basically broke into tears and looked up on the wall, seeing the types of firearms I am selling,” and decided that he could no longer continue to sell the kinds of weapons that were used to kill first-graders. His youngest child is six years old.

concluded that James must have already lost his federal firearms license and is simply putting forward this story as an excuse; another analyst predicted that James will hold on to the weapons and sell them at a premium once they are banned. Both forums were careful to note that the owner of a pawnshop is in no position to make moral judgments at all, as he doubtless traffics in stolen merchandise from meth tweekers and “takes advantage of the poor.”

Well, then I ask one simple request since those watching are more closely tied to people who can pass along a little message from me to our Dear Leader all the way out in that Washington DC place. You see.....I'd hate for this message to get lost or tied up in all that bureaucracy I hear so much about.

Well for those journalists who are snooping, I've got some suggestions because we obviously need common sense media control:

1. Computer keyboards will be governed to only type 20 words per minute or less

2. Ink shall be taxed

3. Journalists will have to apply for a license after passing a certification test

4. Articles submitted will be required to wait for a 72 hour cooling off period before getting published

5. Articles will be checked for evil features such as blatant bias, excessive editorializing, and hyperbole

6. Journalists will only be limited to one published article a month. Trying to publish under various pseudonyms to circumvent this rule will not be allowed

7. Only articles of an adequate quality will be published. There will be no "saturday night specials" of articles.

8. When not in use, a journalist's keyboard will be safely secured

9. Laptops when traveling to and from work must be locked in the trunk

10. Journalists must abide by keyboard free zones wherever marked
