I had to drop some paperwork of to my SIL in the hospital and get some dental work done today. I ran across some new construction that brings St. George, UT into the the "Worth Visiting" category.

From the looks of things it won't be long before it is serving Chick-fil-A goodness!!!

That's all it takes?

Hmm.  Not really sure what to think about that.

Considering I would have to drive to Riverside, CA, Phoneix, AZ or SLC, UT to get Chick-fil-A before it makes going to St. George more palatable.

Great golf and trails for motorcycles/atv's, but don't stay there--stay in Mesquite instead.

There's absolutely NO nightlife in St. George. At all.  My goddaughter lives down there, when I go down to visit the most "nightlife" we can get once she's asleep is Iggy's.

Last time I was in St. George, all I saw were women with like 12 kids each walking around. No men to be seen. Looked like an outdoor daycare.

My Mom lives there, summer time temps are way the fuck too hot, you can go outside and dehydrate yourself to death at 4 AM in about an hour. If you go outside at 4 PM in July you will slowly cook like a prime rib roast in a couple hours.

go there in Feb. sweat will pour off you, and you are wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Too the Fuck hot for me.

Although they did have a little bit of frost on the 28th.

The piligs from Arizona City come to St George and do a lot of shopping, mini buses with 4-8 women and several kids. I am guessing the other 2-3 dozen kids are back home. Otherwise a full sized bus would be needed.

Spent a lot of time *around* St. George...

Went to college in Cedar City at SUU...

Beautiful city. Many happy memories. Lots of fun to be had if you are into hiking, or the outdoors...

Ran the St. George Marathon in 2008...
