I support Sheriff Arpaio. I'm not crazy about the armed posse idea but deputizing teachers would work if it would be an excuse to let teachers conceal carry.

Where does it end? Is he going to send an armed posse to the libraries, the parks, the mall, how about checkpoints at key intersection in every neighborhood like they did in DC? Maybe I'm just cynical at my not so old age but I see moves like this to be nothing than knee jerk reactions pandering to the emotions of the hoi polloi at while ignoring the larger yet simpler issue i.e let any law biding citizen with legitimate business at a school to carry a firearm of their choice. |

Let's get one thing straight - Arpaio is a cunt. A corrupt, grandstanding media whore cunt that the white-hairs here in AZ would not even vote out of he were found in bed with a 12 year old boy.
Furthermore, the whole armed guards in schools thing is fucking silly. I get it, the NRA and others want to combat the nonsense coming from the left but that is not rational. School killings in most areas (there should be armed guards in the hoodrat schools) are vanishingly unlikely. Just like "assault rifles" kill less than 100 people a year in the US and are a non-issue, school shootings are as well. It's horrible any time children are murdered, but it's just as horrible when one is killed by lightening, a car, or a freak gasoline fight accident. School shootings are not a crisis, they are an abnormality.

Before he came along, the county jail system was in major debt and a fucked up mess. He's a straight shooter and I have complete respect for the man.
