Really not sure what took me so long, but I finally did it. I have been on this site for a long time and don't publish much on here, but I have and do take it any and all information I can to educate myself on the things I enjoy. I guess better late than never.

Welcome aboard.

When you get your NRA card, you can ask (maybe striker) who to scan a copy to and you get a little icon below your avatar.

I just joined the NRA and the GOA. I was an NRA member MANY years ago, I figured it was important to renew in light of the current political climate

I agree, and my BRD isn't exactly new, but I felt the same.

Good on you OP. Every member helps. My wife and I are both lifetime, and I was trying to sign up my son (9 months old, don't know what took so long) but the hold time was crazy. Figured I'll try again in a bit.

If hold times to join are long, that's a good sign I guess. I wonder what the rate of joining is now. Last week it was reported 8,000 a day.

Do the easy pay life plan. Its $25 a quarter. In a few years you'll be a life a member like me.

I let mine lapse through neglect. I just plain forgot to renew my 3 yr membership. I renewed mine just the other night.

Just joined the day after Christmas. My wife bought me a sweet NRA shirt so I thought I better walk the walk. Five minutes and $25.00 not bad.

Took the $25 Bass Pro gift card (even though Bass Pro sucks balls IMO) but also tossed them a $35 donation to help fund the new "School Shield "security training initiative.
