Not enough camouflage. The "militia" guys I've seen on TV love camouflage. I especially like the camouflage t-shirts and white Wal-Mart tennis shoes.
I guess I don't take this personally since I don't align myself with ass-scratching, booger-eating hillbillies named Colonel Jesse who think that they could run this country better than our (less than perfect, I agree) current system. The only thing I share with those whack-jobs is gun ownership. |

What I find interesting is the hockey masks Where in the world would a good redneck find a hockey mask? I don't think I've ever seen one in person. I like the picture of the redneck with the blaze orange on his vest. What idiot would wear that in a "tactical" situation? Do the game designers really think that's realistic?z |

They're always trying to think up bigger and better things. My CD got damaged so I didn't get to far but Rogue Spear had Arabs (Egyptian I think) and even had a mission with Japanese eco-terrorists... Problem is, every time they use American militia it seems stupid. Unless this is one or two missions can't see how they can create a decent enough storyline. It was the American militia in 1776 that made this country the type of nation to embrace the free enterprise system that is allowing you to sell your video game and make a living. It was the citizen soldiers that fought the Second World War, whose rifleman skills came from owning and shooting private weapons (like a "militia" would) , that enabled America to defeat Nazi Germany. As part of the Second Amendment "militia" and as further authorized by the Militia Act of 1791, I personally take offense to your charachterization of me as a "terrorist." Though I belong to NO organization even remotely of the "militia" purpose, I am part of the militia as authorized in BOTH the Second Amendment and the Militia Act of 1791. After all, an early version of CS featured a sign saying "The Weavers" on the house on the map: cs_militia. Callous ignorance, beautifully demonstrated. Seems they're at it again. This really does paint a bad picture globally as well as domestically.
I live in Australia 5 months of the year; When I go to the internet cafes, they are packed elbows to assholes with kids/adults playing CS. Not that I have to prove anything to the Koreans/Chinese/Arabs that are non-American; It's just the principle. |

We all should know the pattern. First the target group is demonized in all forms of media, then when the masses are ready for the target group's removal, in come the folks who have been tasked with that removal operation. Now just look at how far along that timeline we are at present. |

Gearbox software is the firm that is writing "Counterstrike: Condition Zero". Sierra is just the company that's putting the game on the shelves. Gearbox was formed in 1999 in Plano, TX.

Odd. The CS: Condition Zero site appears to be down at the moment. And Gear Box software is actually making the game, though mailing Sierra can't hurt, seeing that they hold the almighty buck over gearboxes head.

Sure, leave in one of the brothers Jed, but add an inner city youth, someone in paramilitary garb, a geeky looking guy, a dude in a suit, maybe a guy in an actual US military uniform, and of course a 15 year old kid in a trench coat... Terror comes from many places. They shouldn't just point their finger at just one. |

They are referring to a program that modifies Counter strike, one of the modifications is the addition of "militia" bad guys-the actually company that make the modification program has a Plano Texas address. Sierra is also to blame for labeling Militia's as terrorists. True that some domestic terrorists label themselves as militia, but this is beside the point as it paints with a broad brush.
In SWAT3 there is "Soverign America" who opposses some signing with a UN agreement/treaty which is unclear in the game itself. |

IIRC Doom was created by John Carmack and is from a company named ID. Nothing to do with Sierra, Gearbox or CS as far as I can tell.
