Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Got my 16 inch Hbar barrel lightened.

Took it to a local gunsmith two weeks ago to have the area under the handgaurds turned down to lightweight profile. I was very surprised at the quality of work. Looks great, completely refinished the barrel, sight block and compensator. the recut area under the handgaurds and the refinish itself is perfect. total for the reprofiling of the barrel and the refinish was 86.00 including tax. If anyone need this kind of work done, I would strongly recomend these guys.  www.bullseyeprecision.com

It would have been easier to just have 6" cut off. [:)]
