A few weeks ago there was a article at wired, or some other tech website (don’t remember) about your rights concerning privately owned drones above your property.
As my old and foggy brain remembers it there is a SCOTUS ruling that says you do not have unlimited rights to the airspace above your property. If you did then aircraft couldn’t fly across the county without thousands of negotiated agreements.
I came away thinking that if a drone was circling my neighborhood at 500 feet then I have to live with it, but if it was hovering outside my window then it was a free fire type thing, assuming the law allows for the discharge of a firearm where you live.
The article is out there if anyone wants to look for it. I’m too tired and stuffed with my second Thanksgiving dinner (this one at my inlaws) to look it up.
