Gander Mtn has 250 shells of 8 shot for $60, which works out to be 24¢ per shell.

Any better deals?

Every day price on the 100 packs of Federal at Wal-Mart is comparable (like 24 or 25c. per shot). I believe that Dick's is, or was, running a sale on economy bird shot as well that comes out to 20 to 25 c. per shot, depending on brand/ load.

I remember when Bass Pro had cheap bird shot for $2.00 a box. I think they did it twice a year. Haven't seen that in 5-6 years.

Anyway, wouldn't the value packs at Walmart work out to about the same? $0.24 a shell.
