I'm in a hotel, got a turkey wrap from the bar around the corner. Doesn't really bother me anymore.

Right about now, im hiding locked inside my man cave wishing I had a little bit of alone time. Family is nice to a point. I have reached it.

I have to work at 4am.
Sent the wife and MIL packing 2hrs away to be with BIL and family. About to cook a steak on the grill, got cold beer, and my dog. Life is peachy keen right now.

I wanted to just watch football and drink beer today. My family found out I was off work and keep hounding me to join them. So I grabbed an overtime shift at work instead.

My mother died 6 days ago. I passed on all the family fun this year, just wanted to sit here and reflect.
I don't think I could ever eat anyone Else's dressing. |

My buddy was all alone...out in the woods hunting. I called him before dinner...he came over..filled up with turkey potatoes corn stuffing gravy cinnamon rolls brownies etc...and went back to the woods hunting..

I've spent it alone as well. I got some type of stomach sickness last night and slept in the bathroom. My favorite holiday.....sigh.
