My daughter is watching so I catch a few glimpses of it. I never cared for watching growing up, parades are generally the suck. My question is this, does the miltary have an appearance in the parade ? I havent seen anything from them so far.

I think I saw an Air Force marching band. I'm in the other room though most of the time.

I don't remember the military ever really having anything in that parade.

I fucking hate parades.

This has become nothing more than an infomercial for broadway shows with some balloons thrown in.  They lost me at, "The story behind Annie is . . . "  I'd rather be forced to watch Honey Boo Boo.

The United States Air Force Band and Honor Guard appeared.

So everyone can ease off the "no military" complaint.

Vintage Thanksgiving Day parade

I know the date stamp is August, that is just when dad developed the film.

We found the inordinate number of clowns disturbing.

It was neat to watch when I was a kid, I guess it's not what it used to be.
