I will throw in at 6 deaths nationwide as each year it increases and I believe last year was 4.

Real challenge... 3 from being crushed to death from either a stampede to the electronics isle or mashed against the doors as the workers try unsuccessfully to unlock the doors against the tons of pressure from the crowd. 2 from altercations and 1 from the thrifty FSA waiting in the parking lot to ambush some happy go lucky "I got it ha ha" person who has what he wants. |

One death, six serious injuries, and one incident involving a shopper spraying another with pepper spray.
ETA: I despise black Friday, but since my wife loves the "sport" of it I go with her every year to keep her safe. Two years ago I got hit with a loaded shopping cart so hard I got knocked off my feet-and I'm a big fat bastard. People are broke. That means they are even more determined to save money on BF. Death toll with be higher than it was last year.
I don't know how many died last year, but I'm going to add 75% to that number. |

Walmarts (at least near me) are open 24 hours a day, so no chance for a stampede at the door.
Throw in a Target and Best Buy into the mix and I'm guessing 3 deaths. All in "urban" areas. |
