Just wanted to wish you guys a Happy Thanksgiving and start a thread for ppl to post what they are thankful for.

First and foremost I am thankful for God and my Family.

Also, I am very thankful for the men and women who serve our County.

Please keep these guys and gals in your prayers through this holiday season!

Im thankful for good friends and great guns.  Also pretty greatful for my new promotion and salary.

I'm thankful I have a job, a roof over my head and a good wife.

I'm thankful that I am an American.



I may have a president that I disagree with and I may think that my countrymen are all a bunch of idiots, but dammit I can still say that the leader of my nation is a no good, cocksucker without worrying about the secret police kicking in my door tomorrow and hauling my ass off to the gulag.



I'm thankful that I have a job. Speaking with a view of humanity in general, I am one of the wealthiest people on Earth, and the conditions that I would consider to be poverty, should I be forced to it tomorrow, would still put my living standard far and away above the rest of the people that I share this planet with.



I am also thankful for my family. They may be a bunch of fucked up weirdos with more issues than National Geographic, but dammit, I love the lot of them and I know that they love me...in their various ways, none of them being physical of course, we're not from Mississippi after all.



And most importantly, I am thankful for the Detroit Tigers. Back to back American League Central Division champions for the first time in more than 70 years, winning their 11th American League Championship in franchise history, the second in the last 7 seasons, and now bigger and stronger with the addition of Torii Hunter, on their way to their third consecutive AL Central Championship, second consecutive American League Championship and first World Series title since 1984.


 

I'm thankful for the health of my child.

I'm thankful for friends & family and bieng able to live / work / hunt in an area with views live this.

This is the view I'm working to have one day.

I'm thankful to live in the greatest country in the world (regardless of the worthless entity running it), great family and friends, and good health.

ETA: Also thankful for the men and women who fought and are fighting for this great country

Thankful for my wife and kids.  Thankful for an education that led to a nice career.

My family, my freedom, my health and that I have a job that pays for my bills and hobbies.

Good answers all around.. My wife and my job are definitely at the top of my list as well!

All at the push of a button instead of having to build a cooking fire and deal with a bunch of hungry Indians standing around like the great Americans that started Thanksgiving had to do.
