And just randomly dispersed a million bucks to 125 people .
That would be a fun experiment. |
|
Someone made a documentary of giving a bum a $ 100k. It was gone in like 18 months. People who have never had money generally piss away large windfalls like that. They buy vehicles, live expensively, buy homes for relatives, open failboat small businesses.
|
|
These 125 people...they would be friends of yours, or at least friends of friends?
Because that sounds an awful lot like the federal government Speed |

In this experiment , I'd be giving voluntarily. For science. But, an interesting note: the gov would tax the shit out of: -my winnings -each of the recipients gift (right?) So fuck that. |

Make them agree to being studied and audited/interviewed at 1,5,10,20 years. |

Here's hoping that you win, after all you do deserve the money.
Would also be nice if "I seemed familiar to you" as well. |

If you can't manage $10 you can't manage $100,000.00 and so on. I have found this to be a very telling tale dealing with million dollar budgets in the Healthcare industry I am associated with. |

Sort of been done before... I'm not sure what happened with all of the cash but I think a few of them probably had a nice weekend. |

Here's a hint:
The Millionaire. Just remember that the taxes (All of them) were already paid to the recipient: |

I will help with your experiment! Man, I'd call in and report every day for a million bucks. Friend...

We had a small windfall, and managed not to touch it for several years until we ran into health problems. I would like to think that I would be responsible with a large sum of money. |

Not that it's gonna happen...but...should I "Win" the Powerball (Meaning, should the quick-pick numbers ever come-up my way)...
I'm gonna split the jackpot 30-ways (15 to MY family and 15 to My wife's). We'll all party like it's 1999 and then part friends. I'll be dead with-in the year of course |

It's going to be hard to come up with 125 people. I'm here and can help you out with that. Now for the other 124...

Well you can cross me right off your list.
I DON'T want any free shit. Thanks for the thought. |

In, lol.
Would be a great experiment, my guess is that 90% would blow through it like Hammer. |

Its up to 350 million now, so ramp up your plans by a few more heads, OP

The odd thing was the first thing he talked about doing was getting his teeth fixed, which he never did. |

Well, I'm giving away MY lottery winnings.
To Porsche. To Cessna (for the largest single pilot Citation they make). To those guys making Me-262 replicas in TX. The rest goes in a bank in the Isle Of Mann. TC |

In on one in case he wins.
I don't have 125 family and friends. I'd have to find 90 random strangers to give the rest to. Providing they didn't vote for Obama. Tell you what OP, you're in the 90 if I win. |

Ha I'd write you a book if that's what you wanted. I would take that money and I think I would figure out a way to pay it back within a year

I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities...

I'd pay off my house (no other debt), buy my wife a new (probably still used) car, and find good investments for the rest and forget about it. Just not having the house payment anymore would free up plenty of spending money every month. |
