not a hole hawg but a older big drill like that.
was standing kneeled over drilling between my feet. wrapped my wrist up in it pretty good and took me off my feet in a hurry
smacked me in the ankle hard enough it swelled up and was nasty looking enough I forgot about my wrist lol

nothing like laying there thinking about what you just did after just getting your ass whooped like that

I pulled myself off an 8' foot ladder with a hole hog.

The worst is using the screw tip bits, and you get it setup just right... Drillin, drillin, drillin... till you find your trigger finger and the 2x4 is smashed together and you can't stop the hog. PANIC!

"Yeah, well you should see the other guy!"

That's what I'd be going with.

Hollleee shit....     That's fantastic, I'm dying here

On a serious note, the hole hawg I use has a slipper clutch so things like that don't happen.

Hole Hawgs, like other power tools, tend to do what they want to do.  As an operator, you try to guide it as safely as possible.  Sometimes they won't cooperate though.

Your eye isn't supposed to do that, is it?

I had a hole hawg throw me off the top of a log cabin wall one time.  In retrospect, I probably shouldn't haven been straddling it and standing in top of a 10" wide log 8' in the air.  Hind sight is always 20/20 I guess

When I was a 2nd year apprentice I smashed my hand pretty good with a 6" hole saw bit.

Im a bit stronger now and better at bracing and I've broken 2 hole hangs. One lost a gear the other lost the Jacobs chuck.

Learned about those things the hard way. Called my neighbor to borrow a drill since the batteries on mine weren't holding a charge. He told me where the drill boxes were but failed to mention that he had two drills that looked exactly the same. I grabbed the hole hawg on top and tried to break my wrist while using a hole saw.
