I'm working near Reese, MI, just east of Saginaw.  A pair of A-10s just flew over low, (yes, I am sure they were A-10s), probably less than 250ft heading south.  This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks of seeing them.  The last time they were heading low as well, towards the south east.

What's up with the low flyovers?

No, but they may have seen the shine from my tinfoil hat.

Note to self, shop online for tactical tinfoil.

Headed to the standoff in Muskegon.  So much whining about militarization, SWAT decided to show them what militarization really looked like.

The Air Guard has an A-10 Unit right on Lake St. Clair.

They might be ramping up training in anticipation for an upcoming deployment

(if you can call a 3 month vacation a deployment )

Yea... I'm the bitter army guy that has done the 12 month type

Local Guard has had Apaches doing NOE day/night training in my area the last couple weeks. Our sheriffs department actually put out a bulletin b/c they were experiencing increase phone calls about it. Pretty normal for me as I live along a river that gets alot of attention from apaches and bh's.

Not sure where you're at but there's A10s at Selfridge.

Reese is almost at the center point along a straight line from Selfridge (where they are stationed) to Camp Grayling (where they often train).

You can see them a lot flying over my father's property in Standish as well.

Years ago I lived in Battle Creek and you would see them flying around the area. I am sure they are simply hunting swamp donkeys

I used to live and work near davison, east of flint, and would see a pair fly by almost every couple of weeks, if not once a week.
