A red x? A badass motherfucking Mercedes. Now with a functional pic. |

too much money spent on looks, when it should be spent on mechanical awesomeness.

That actually looks pretty badass. I'd hate to see the price tag though!

... would be nice if she turns out as bad-assed as she looks

Ain't nothing compared to the Jeep Hurricane http://image.jpmagazine.com/f/9075027+w750+st0/154_0501_01z+jeep_hurricane_concept+front_right_view.jpg Nice dune buggy, but tough to armor for the Zombie Apocalypse. |

What I want can't be legally mass-produced anymore.
Just a barebones design with modern suspension, steering, brakes, with a simple, strong motor any shadetree mechanic can keep running for decades; hold the airbags and anything else that doesn't make it go faster. The Dodge Razor concept was close to this. |
|
The jeep version that came out three years ago was a little tougher looking. Dammit, beat by a couple

Wherein form doesn't follow function. In fact, not only is form not on the same road as function, it's in a whole fuckin' different state.

I'd rather have the Ford EX http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-def/Ford-EX-Concept-Vehicle-Front-1280x960.jpg Not enough V8! |

The worst was the Jeep pickup truck concept they had 6 or 7 years ago. I loved that thing!
|
|
They say the Bronco concept might make it for 2015. Lots of shared components from the F150 (as it should be), 4wd only (as it should be), and apparently a diesel option.

What are those things above the windshield? 40 watt plasma cannons?

An $80,000 (or more) off-road truck (?)
I'd rather have three or four Nissan Xterras or Toyota FJs. |
|
I like that armored G-Wagen concept that was sitting on 'Mog portals.
