I dunno if this has been posted before, but here goes:

"Bill Biggart's Final Exposures"

Photographer Chip East was staring intensely at his laptop screen.

It was two weeks after two jetliners had plowed into the towers of the World Trade Center. His good friend, photojournalist Bill Biggart's body had been recovered from the rubble. His personal effects, including his cameras had been released by authorities to his widow, Wendy.

Check out the pictures. His film cameras got destroyed, along with the pictures he took with them. But his digital camera's CF card survived, and produced these pictures.

i did some work for the masonry company that rebuilt the pentagon. they gave me about 30 pics before and after shots.
I got to get the cd burned and forward to rbad for his cd collection. Damn i need some free time!

Every time I see the photos the rage comes back...

Whoever said it first was absolutely right; we need to keep showing these images over and over so no one ever forgets...

Toaster, I know that I will never get over that day. And, to some degree, I do not want to. If I never fully release the anger, I will be more prepared to react when/if I have to. I won't go into all the reasons why I never will recover, but the most important one to me is that those bastages f'd up my birthday forever (purely selfish, I know). That's followed by a close second of the fact that we (the American public, not AR15ers) still have not learned from it.

So, if my posts ever seem a bit cranky, it's because I've been cranky for about a year now.

Now that is some shit! I've seen the picture of the Vista just before Tower 2 hit it, I didn't realize that it looked like that before Tower 1 finished the job...That is EXACTLY the spot we set up the first cranes on the 12th....kinda eerie....thanks for the link!

I feel the exact same way. I have a tear in my eye right now typing this. The complacency in this country now infuriates me. The quote “Never Forget, Never Forgive” states it perfectly.

When I see these pictures the emotions build…

When I hear politicians arguing about petty bullshit when we are at war, I think, what motivates them to do this?
