I'm looking forward to some kick ass deals in the EE in about 6-8 months when people realize the economy still sucks that those 5 extra rifles/BCGs/parts that they ordered would be better converted into cash to pay bills.

PSA restocked their blem lowers yesterday afternoon. I logged in this morning and they were sold out.

I bought 2 brand new spike's stripped lowers a few months ago for 78 a pop on a group buy from elsewhere. Still untouched. Did I do the right thing?

I've missed out on three different "email me when in stock" deals on Spikes BCG's. You literally have to be sitting in front of your computer when the email comes and order that sucker without thinking twice, or you lose out.

with all the palmettos sold without guts i expect bolt carrier groups to be scarce for quite some time

i bought a bunch for just that reason and just sold OP my one spare/spare

the rest will probably get sold too along with those gutless uppers. baby on the way, dishwasher broke and the soon-to-be wife wants new flooring

she still has to let me turn one into a pink AR though, so i've got that going for me...

Course, I say that and I did buy one of the $59 blem lowers PSA sold on Nov 5th.

But that wasn't a panic buy, I've decided I want to put together both a 20" rifle and a 10.5" pistol (eventual SBR), so I needed another lower. Good deal came along, so I bit.

I bought a pair of PSA BCGs yesterday and I don't even really need them right now but I've got another build in mine so I think at least one of them will find a home. That leaves one spare.

Oh, and I just remembered I had two PSA Premium BCGs tucked under the seat of my car when I went to the shop today. Tried selling them for months at MSRP thinking I'd replace then when they got more in stock, but everyone was more interested in whining about the shortage than they were in actually building their rifles.

I just ordered a Core myself and hope its ok. Have a Spikes on B/O with Brownells, but have no idea when it'll be instock. The Core seems like a good price for our current situation. If anything, I'll just use it as a spare.

FYI: Core-15 has another 299 BCGs back instock. I ordered one from them a few days ago, and still waiting for it to arrive so I can't comment on it yet. I did a search and found MicroBest is who Core says make their BCGs. I assume from what I've read Micro Best is GTG.
