Damn I hate lockups...had to reboot.
Anyway, here's a couple for ya.
#1 - LEGENDS OF THE FALL (1994)
Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Aidan Quinn, Julia Ormond.
Good story, great cinematography, and Julia [sex] aaah. Alright Brad does moon for the camera as the misundertood loner [rolleyes] once too often, but the chicks love the guys, and the guys will love the (few but well done) action scenes.
#2 - THE USUAL SUSPECTS (1995)
Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Spacey, Benecio Del Toro, Gabriel Byrne
Here's a guys "Whadafukhappened" flick, that will keep you guessing [thinking]. Usually takes a few viewings. Good action scenes and a couple of plans that are downright amusing.
Line to use with the GF - "It's a story of a guy who wants to go straight, but has to do one last job to save the love of his life."
#3 - WAY OF THE GUN (2000)
Benecio Del Toro, James Caan, Juliette Lewis, Taye Diggs
A film with some outstanding weapons handling, and a f**d up plot (It's dismaying to think somebody would feel the need to try a stunt like this, but unfortunately for us, it's believable in today's world)
Line to use with the GF - "It's a film about the lengths a man will go to to protect his children"
#4 ABSOLUTE POWER
Clint Eastwood
Alright, I didn't get time to get all the background on this one, but it's not a bad flick (it's got Eastowoods for chrissakes), and it beats watching Fried Green Tomatoes again.
#5 THE JACKAL
Bruce Willis, Richard Gere
Alright, it does seem kind of unamerican to see Willis as a questionably sexual terrorist who has no problem killing innocaent women and children [wacko](warm up the democrats), but there are some cool scenes, and the good guys win out in the end.
Line for the GF- "it's about an unrequited love, and the lengths he'll go to to protect her, despite having gone their seperate ways."
#6 - FIRST KNIGHT
Richard Gere, Sean Connery, Julia Ormond
Alright, it's repackaged Arthur and Camelot stuff, but it's mushy enough to keep her interest, and manly enough to get an occasional "YEAH" when a sword connects[kill]. Besides, its got James bond for crissakes.
Line for the GF-"It's a timeless tale of forbidden love that has become part of our cultural mythos"
(Alright, maybe my liberal arts degree was a little _too_ liberal [rolleyes])
