1958: My bitchin' O'Keefe & Merritt stove was installed in my house. 4 burners (one of which has a thermostat to maintain your sauce at exactly 200F or whatever), griddle, oven, seperate broiler with rotiserie (sp?) motors, electric thermometer probe thingy so it will cook your roast to perfection then shut itsef off.
