Hey gang-
 Being the proud owner of a Pre-ban AR-15 and a new Ar-180B I gotta say Gene Stoner was a gall dang genius.  But the problem I'm suffering is my AR-180 seems to be a superoir weapon.  The darn AR-180 rocks, no malfs, accurate as heck, and thank god it's clean to shoot.  It took 15 minutes to clean it as opposed to over an hour to scrap out the darn bolt carrier on my AR.  When I look at the design of the Ar-180 I'm just astounded we ever adopted a rifle that puts so much junk in the mechanism from firing.  Your thoughts.  Jeff

What astoundes me is a rifle that works so well with all the junk in the mechanism.
