WTF?
“When we heard of the center’s struggle to pay off its mortgage, we knew we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to help them,” added Gould. “Fort Wayne, Auburn and the surrounding communities are home to many active and retired armed forces members who visit the Auburn Auction Park regularly and have welcomed our company with open arms. It’s our turn to give back to the community and help keep this historic and respected site open for generations to come.” |

Most of the items are lacking in actual descriptions of running condition, repairs necessary, etc...
I have it on good authority that extensive homework should be done on these items before bidding. |

I have been to Camp Beauregard here in LA several times to pick up some GL winnings. There are two DUKW's in a fenced in lot near the DRMO office. They've been sitting for quite a while, along with a Pershing tank and another tank hull. From what I have heard, there are no plans to do anything with them other than to let them sit and rot outside. Seems like such a waste. LC |

I am drooling over the demilled guns. MP40s, Panzerschrecks, 1919 Brownings. I do not even care that they are demilled, I would love to have them!

Wood that has been prepping 50 or so Hummers to get crushed for the last few days. I realize they've probably been rode hard and put away wet, but I think some of them only have 70K on them. |

After the war grandpa bought 4 of those, brand new, still in the crates for.... $50 each. |
|
I want that M16 half track "Meat-chopper"!
ETA: they went far beyond simple "Demilitarization" on those guns. |
|

The auctions in Auburn were the highlight of my childhood.
So sad how far the Kruse family has fallen. |
|
|
|
So did I. three times. |

Well, if you get that, you've got to get the 88 to tow behind it ETA: Apparently, if you've got the scratch, this site has a Panther for sale I'd take that over an Austin Martin any day |
|
Paul Allen has two of those....they fire them on occasion. |

Paul Allen has two of those....they fire them on occasion. Was at a re-enactment down near College Station prolly 5 years back, and someone had one that they were crankin blanks though. Goddamn thing made a racket when it was behind you and they touched it off |
