As I was attempting to ''delete'' a post that I had made, I tried hitting the ''delete'' button, but it just kept coming back with the post undeleted.

When I thought, Well, I''ll just ''edit'' my post, the post was deleted!

I''m not certain if this is true with all users, or just with me.

Thanks!

Seems to be a quirk in the system. After you delete your post you need to get out of the thread and come back in for it to refresh.

Here's what works for me.

First you hit 'delete' and the pop-up comes and asks you 'Are you certain...'

I hit 'Yes' and the screen refreshes. The post is still there!

Then I hit 'Edit', the screen refreshes, and the post is gone!

Is it my system or is the spell checker not working also.

There seems to be a small problem with refreshing after an action.

When you logout, it looks like you haven't but actually you have.  Hit your browser's refresh button, and presto!

The GoatGuy knows about the logout thing and will fix it in due time.

So I heard about an offer to look for exploits on the server.... does that still stand?

I have a few ideas.. that may work. Those in the know; IM me for a green light to check the system.

Edit: I'll prolly run CSS on ya today anyway... that'll help me out considerably to see if my idea works... no worries though; not intrusive.

No this is not true. In fact posting about "hacking" a site is not the smartest thing to do either.

If I was going to "hack" the site I certainly wouldn't post it [whacko]

So anyways your "no" stands fine with me. I just have a lot of experience in comp security and thought I could help ya'all out.

The Grand Poobah, The Exalted Potentate, and Most High Muck-a-luck!

Hmm, I think that just about covers it.

It must be the system as I appear uneducated and ignorant when I post....[:D]
