I'm 99% certain our economy will completely collapse in the next 4 years.
I don't want a republican holding the bag when it does. Nothing Governor Romney can do will reverse the direction of this country anyway. |
|
I'm for stretching it out as long as possible before our socialist overlords get complete control.
|
|
As is my nature, I'm somewhere in between.
I hope Romney will win, but I think Obama will win. BTW, I don't think our economy will completely collapse, unless you have a different definition of "complete collapse" than I do.

I don't "want" Obama to win. But sadly I agree with the other points. If Kerry had won the Dems would have been left holding the bag when the housing crisis they helped create blew up. Bush won, he took the full blame, and we got Obama. Same issue here.
|
|
Pretty much. Doesn't matter who wins this election, we're all going to be eating human flesh in a few years.

If Romney wins and fixes things well enough that we reelect him in 2016 will you commit sepuku in protest? |
|
I suggest that you choke yourself with one hand, while putting your pinhead into the garbage disposal and flipping the switch with the freehand. I know this sounds complicated, but I have faith in you.

|
And as nicely as possible, <probably CoC> and go watch 2016 Obama's America. He doesn't want us to have economic meltdown. We can recover from that. We can't recover from getting nuked.

Ah yes. OP is jerking it with CLP in his parents basement.
The country made it through Carter, we can make it through Obama. Not saying it will be easy, but we just can't sit on the sidelines and not vote or vote for some no name third party candidate that has less of a chance of winning than winning the lottery. |

jeez, i'm surprised you'd take that stance. you usually seem pretty reasonable. |

I want Obama to win too...

Pretty much I am figuring that it will collapse if obungo gets in again.
But I do believe that Mitt can implement policies that could allow for a recovery. It was pretty bleak when Reagan took office too. |

Well, I've never heard any dire predictions about imminent economic collapse ever before.
Don't worry, I'm sure this time the doom and gloomers are right. |

I can appreciate the idea of disagreeing with the OP, but he's as far from a "basement dweller" as they come. BTW, it's true that a 3rd party candidate has less of a chance of winning the presidency than a lottery winner. But in keeping things brutally honest (if we're all about probability), your individual vote for Romney (or anyone, for that matter) faces the same extremely long odds, in ultimately determining the winner.

Quoted: This. Regan took a country in shambles and put us back on course in short order. It just takes a leader who is capable of doing the job, Obama is not that person.Pretty much I am figuring that it will collapse if obungo gets in again. Either way.....Romney or Obama.......we're in deep....

I think Romney will win...going away...
I'm hoping for a Reagan-like turnaround as this election has so many parallels to 1980. |

Quoted: I haven't read any of the books in that alternate universe. I reject the whole premise that it's based on. The premise that our public and private debt totals 100% of the GLOBAL GDP? I don't know if that is a debatable point of discussion or not. |

Totally different. It goes beyond a bad economy and poor economic polices. Carter was an idiot, a terrible president, but I'm not convinced he completely hated American. I think Obama does. I think Obama is in that seat with the intent to ruin America completely. I also think the opposition is too well entrenched for the problems to be fixed with Romney's election ( should he win ) but it will slow it down. Romney will definitely bump the economy up soon with sound business and economic practice. |

Do you really think all of the economists who are talking about the 'fiscal cliff' are crying wolf? |

Quoted: Quoted: Some men just want to see the whole world burn. let it burn we can start over Sure, if you don't mind 2 centuries of women dying 10 percent of the time they give birth, simple tasks as deciding what water is safe to drink, lack of electricity, and a whole list of other things. Seriously? As for the original post, the OP seems to think that if Obama is president when we have an economic meltdown, the public will blame him and Democrats. If the media told the truth, that could possibly happen, but we know they won't. Obama needs to go NOW. |
