My wife and I are going skiing in WV (from Charlotte, NC) and plan to stop for 2 nights or so in the Blue Ridge mntns of NC or VA.
Do any of you have a good recommendation for a bed and breakfast or hotel....or do any of you own one? I don't need spa, golf lessons, horseback riding or any of that shit. Just a nice, clean, spacious place to stay with some natural beauty for the eyes. Thanks for your help

Are you traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway? Its awesome! I traveled it a few years ago with my father on our motorcycles and man what views. We stayed in the Days Inn in Fancy Gap and it was ok. Not a bad place but nothing special. That was a great ride I got to spend some time I will never forget with my father. Here is a link to the

Cataloochee Ranch in Maggie Valley NC is a unique place for those looking for an out of the way getaway with lots of hiking opportunities.

If you are going to be anywhere near Berkley Springs give me a shout. I know a real nice place there, and it's a nice little town.
