Funny, my copy has no mention of this. This is the worst of the lot. You know how govt. "protects" YOUR land? Regulation. What does "own" mean, if not "control". Do you REALLY "own" your land?? Or is the govt. just allowing you to "rent" (property taxes), it?? Try not paying your "rent", or doing something govt. thinks is not "protecting" (like not getting a building "permit"), the land, and see what happens....

you've got to quit thinking of our modern-day government as if it's always been that way.
when our FF did their chit chatting regarding rights and governmental powers, one of the things that concerned them was the right to private property. originally, it [i]was[/i] the intent of the government to protect that right.
socialism has a way of changing original intents.
