Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Modular home owners.

My wife and I are thinking of putting up a modular home (not a manufactured home).  If anyone has one, I'd appreciate comments on how you like it.  What make or style did you go with?  What would you have done differently if you had to do it over again?

Just want to get some opinions from others on this type of housing.  Sloth

I've put up two  one story office buildings.you cant tell they are modular.however the home kits vary greatly in quality.Just look around and compare specs and then price.Look at how there built.Will you need a crane to set larger sections and are they in the right order to minimize rental time.
