[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 6.5 Grendel Forum BEING ATTACKED AGAIN

Someone has launched a well-coordinated attack on the 6.5 Grendel Forum, with what appears to be servers in Poland, Czech Republic, & Cyprus.

There are translated streams of a foreign language into English, that don't line up grammatically. There are lots of Polish characters, and Czech characters were showing up yesterday.

Looks well-coordinated, constant, and determined.

The site was destroyed last year, and rebuilt. This is very strange.

6.8 forum seeing lots of spam today as well, I heard China's name being dropped, but you never really know.

Okay I found a few of these polish posts, it looks just like forum spam to me. If it was a well coordinated attack then the site wouldn't be reachable

One person can probably take that site down let alone some evil coalition

So the odd-caliber fanbois are at each others throats?

So which group is behind it... 300BLK, 450 Bushmaster, 458 SOCOM... Or maybe it's those nutty purists who demand that an AR be in 223. Or the other nutty purists who say it has to be 5.56. Then there are those really nutty guys from Utah or something that say a 223 Wylde chamber is the only way to go...

Yeah, we had them on 68forums really bad a couple of weeks ago. There were about 150 posts in an hour's time.

Hate that you guys are getting hit too. The smaller forums have a harder time blocking that stuff. I think ours was Chinese or at the very least Asian. It was ads and links for shoes mostly, but to get by that protocol in the programming, it was mixed in with a very long story about some girl with a sick father or something. Really strange.

Hope you guys get it handled.
