I swear I saw a pistol eject two shells yesterday, one fired, one unfired, in a single cycle of the action.  New shooter in a class is firing a 1911(ish) looking Llama .40 cal.  I seem to see two shell casing in the air after a shot and one looks funny, I follow it to the ground and low and behold it is an unfired cartridge.  My guess is that it popped out of the magazine during ejection.  What's weird is that it flipped up into a close trajectory with the fired one, like it had been ejected as well.  Anyone ever see this happen?

Sure i had that happen with a defective magazines on my beretta 92? Tossed a couple of live rounds out after the empty brass

What's funny is that it chambered and fired the next live round.
