My sister's dog got hit by a tractor, and lived, for a few hours.
Very traumatic for her immediate family. Farm dogs running free is the way it around here. With freedom comes risk, even for a dog. |

When I was in grad school I came on a guy who had been jogging with his doberman on a long leash. It was night and some guy had run it over. It wasn't really anyone's fault I don't think, but the guy in the car started chewing out the jogger about not controlling the dog while the jogger was on the ground holding the dog and crying. I ended up taking the jogger and the dead dog (it was a good sized dog) back to his apartment. I offered to bury the dog for him 'cause the guy lived in an apartment and seemed sort of like a city kid (Where the heck I was going to bury the stupid thing? I have no idea) but he carried it into the apartment building.
I saw the next morning that there was blood all over the back seat that I couldn't get out. It was always a challenge getting women I didn't know into that car after going to a bar or party. |

my gf said sue him too..heheh. wish i knew who it was so i could give them a talking too. i'm not trying to intimidate them, but i used to work at a vet clinic and i know what can happen if you're stupid and let your dog run around loose..especially in a city.
