Looking for recommendations for a shoulder sling bag for upcoming vacation where we'll be traveling abroad.  Looking at the Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack but wondering if anyone has any other recommendations?  Seems bigger than I really want to carry around for tours and travel for a couple weeks.  Thanks for ideas and/or experiences.

Our very own Storm_Tracker is a custom nylon bag crafter of fine imagination and skill. He built me a badass pistol support bag a couple of years ago, and it would make an excellent minimalist murse, satchel, shoulder bag, etc.

Wearing a ballistic nylon bag by Maxpedition on safari in Europe.  What could possibly go wrong.

You may want to consider a napsack made out of "oiltanned" or 'chapleather."  You could contact "the leatherguy" in St. Charles MN for the leather if you can't find one for sale.  Come to think of it that's a good Idea.  I may have to make one..............

Put the purse down and go to a tactical store or Cabela's.

Going all, "METRO" are you?  Make sure your shoes match your shoulder bag.
