He does have a bit of a socialist leaning, but I do like his personality.

We were up at Camp Ripley one weekend a year or so ago. He was up at Valhala (the Minnesota Governer's Camp David) and there was a tornado in a town close by.

We got the tap to take him and his wife to the area. When he arrived back at the helicopter after walking around, his aid said Paul Wellstone was almost there and would be landing shortly. He asked Jessie if he wanted to stay and speak with him. Jessie said "no", then when his aid left, he told us "Wellstone, I hate that motherfucker". LMAO. He had us rolling.
