New shot shell for arrowheads. Not sure if its legal but its being sold. My buddies bought some and said it penetrated a full jug of water then went trough the backstop of hay . The video sucks BTW . It was just revealed last week at a show here in Louisiana. I will try and get pics of one in action for you guys sometime this week if possible

Seems like an idea of questionable use. Perhaps I don't understand it though... I'm envisioning a shotcup in place of a "thumper" type field point. What does this do better than a field point?

Yea they open up on impact and increase penetration with the shot. Reports are they are devastating

It would be way cooler if it was a little version of those power heads that use 44mags for gators and sharks but instead used .22lr shot shells.

It looks like inertia propels the shot as the legs of the cup contact the skin and stop abruptly.

I agree. I am going visit my friend for a bit next thursday , I will see I can talk my buddies into shooting one. They sais there is no explosion but the damage is obvious. My buddy is a medic too if that counts for anything.

Looks like one shot only per head, whether you hit or miss. Blunt tips or judo points last like, forever unless you hit rocks and other hard shit. How much do these fancy fuckers cost?
