No problem shooting 5.56 NATO ammo. I have shot mil-spec ammo in all of my AR variant rifles, including some late 1980's Olympic Arms bbls (20" Heavy "service match" and 16" heavy, both Stainless).
I have never seen anyone else have problems with 5.56 NATO ammo, either. And your DPMS bbl is chambered for 5.56. |

Depends on when it was made. E-mail like BB said. 5.56 doesn't work well in a .223 chamber.
