I cannot believe that a professor would make such a ridiculous statement.  However, when you think about it, this is not that different from women's and anti-gun groups in this country that tell women not to resist rape, not to blow his head off, and to try to 'enjoy as much as you can'.  I actually read a flyer to that effect years ago.  I won't say which group since I can't remember for sure the name of the group.

Does this egghead "professor" have mother? grandmother? sister? wife?  Is he willing to go to them and say what he said, if God forbid they were raped by some camel-humper?  I assume the aforementioned egghead is male, because to my Neaderthal male mind it's almost inconceivable that it would be a woman.  But then, seeing how NOW reacted after Paula Jones, anything is possible.

I went out with a Swedish exchange student in '88. She mentioned to me that back in Sweden Arab immigrant men were always coming on to her, making lude and suggestive remarks, etc. She didn't understand why the government was allowing in so many of these "refugees". I see nothing has changed in the meantime. Sweden is all about 'compassion" but lacks common sense.

I also recall reading (something like ten years ago) that the majority (52% to be exact) of rapes in Germany were committed by the Turkish minority. Same thing elsewhere it would appear.

Remember: immigration is enriching, with all immigrant groups being equally rich in culture (and compatibility with the host country). Just have to get used to these "side effects" of immigration, I guess...

It's ironic where this attitude of Moslems comes from.  Basically, it's the notion that women do in fact control sexual behavior, and that men are totally under the control of their gonads. Therefor, when a Muslim man commits rape (in the Muslim world), he is excused from having to take responsibility since he's "only a man" and can't control himself.

Yes, it's a very wierd way to look at the world, and unless the Moslems who come over here can learn to adapt to, and understand, that the rest of the world does not operate under their standards there are going to be some very ugly incidents.  Maybe even some killings.

The professor is a complete idiot.  Blame the woman for being normal in her own culture, and the outsiders with "new ideas" want to impose their norms. But, that is the somewhat different reason I, too, feel these countries and cultures deserve the crap brought in by the creeps.
These liberal societies bring in the animals, and instead of telling them to conform to the new society they are entering, the creeps are embraced.  The liberal society will punish their own citizens who stand up and say these people have to behave.  So, any democracy gets the government it deserves, and the policies it enforces.

I probably insulted (though that was not my purpose) an AUstralian memeber of this board when I replied similarly to a thread about a rape there.  The societies which embrace creep cultures deserve what they get.  There are consequences.  

Unfortunately, ours is going the same way.  I guess individual action in specific circumstances is all one can expect.  Someone messes with my wife or me, and then wants to say it's multiculturalism  will get a bland initial response (for public consumption).  But, he gets a "Jersey Ride"  (that is, one way) at my convenience.
