Did you subtract the weight of your professional gear and books? That's an additional authorization of 500 lbs.
ETA: Is this a DITY move or are you contracting it out? |

I believe you will need a seperate weigh receipt with pro gear and without it. You don't get penalized for moving more than you are authorized you just don't get paid for more than that limit on a DITY move. If you do a government contracted move you will be liable for additional charges above the authorization.
