Wouldn't it be great to have Olympia Snowe as VP?...........
Just kidding. I think Susanna Martinez ( Gov of NM ) would be a great VP pick. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_ROMNEY_VP?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-07-05-07-24-13 |

I'd love Condi Rice as VP, but I know it isn't going to happen due to her stance on several social issues.

the choices need to start and end with Rubio and have a liberal fill his seat in the Senate? No... |

He's probably considering Hillary so he can bring his ticket to the right a bit.

What's wrong with picking Sarah Palin again? Nothing's wrong with picking her to satisfy me for 28 days straight, but as far as the VP slot! meh! |

Generally speaking, your are more likely to get elected if you select a bumbling idiot as you VP. So, that should be the deciding factor.

That would be a mistake and the fastest way to lose the election !

Mitt is the quintessnetial politician, he needs someone very different to increase his stock. Obama may have lost a lot of popularity but he stills fares well with young voters, "minorities" and a significant portion of women. Rubio is not a bad pick, but a strong more conservative woman who is not white will be gold.........it's a shame politics is not about best persons to serve.

Yeah, good luck with that. |

Sorry, but no. I like her, but she just doesn't come across well. It sucks, but there it is. |

As far as I know, she never stated that she did. She apparently gave indications that she did while on the View. IIRC, her clearest statement on it was: "And as secretary of state, I'm going to keep my partisan or non-partisan views to myself on that. But I think all Americans were taken with the fact that we were able, after the long history that we've been through, that initial birth defect of slavery that we elected an African American." I think that people have her confused with that former Republican congressman who did state that he voted for Obama. |

Marco Rubio for VP then have Rick Scott appoint Jeb Bush to replace Rubio as FL senator!

Quoted: Marco Rubio for VP then have Rick Scott appoint Jeb Bush to replace Rubio as FL senator! Fuck no! Damnit!! Leave Rubio where he is and let him gain experience. He's young, he'll have a chance to run and when he does he won't have the Romney factor attached to him. |
|
Quoted: Marco Rubio for VP then have Rick Scott appoint Jeb Bush to replace Rubio as FL senator! That does have a pretty good "heads a'splode" factor for libs. I like that. As far as a woman VP choice the only real viable one I've seen is Nikki Haley, and she's already said she won't accept. |
