The Left is using the forest fires to demonize guns and gunowners. Never mind that the environmentalist movement brought about forestry practices that has allowed fuel to build up. There are no more of the controlled burns to remove overgrown brush that turns into dry tinder in the summer months.

Remember that it's a culture war, a war for hearts and minds. The Left may have struck out on the guns in Mexico plan, So their new game is "only guns cause forest fires".

Some should we counter this by sticking our fingers in our ears and pretending that dipshit gun owners didn't start any of the forest fires?

Who remembers the pot heads who said that big forest fire a couple years back was caused by a grasshopper landing on an electric fence and bursting into flames. The news ate it up, cause no way 4 pot heads could have started the fire then made up an exploding grasshopper story

If they had shut the hell up and let us deal with the beatle kill when it first became an issues these massive fires would have less fuel. And if our liberal ass tree hugging government would allocate ye proper assets the first sign of a fire getting out of hand we wouldn't have lost the hundreds of home that we did in the past three weeks.

Looking at a fire about 7 miles from the house in a canyon which is right behind our community range.

The stupidity makes my head hurt.





If you don't have periodic burns to control the undergrowth and overgrowth,  you just let nature keep piling up more fuel, and the more fuel

piles up, the bigger the eventual fire will be.   And when they're big enough, the fires kill EVERYTHING including the trees that survive

moderate fires and even need fire to complete their seeding cycle.   What's left after that is a lifeless wasteland that takes many years to

recover.



Meanwhile, properly managed forests and frequent small burns result in healthy new growth very quickly after the fire.



Libtards have a really bad habit of not understanding how nature works, and do more harm than good to it by trying to protect it.
