My most hated group of people here is cab drivers.
Used car salesmen I've never had a contact with since I've never had a car. The only lawyers I've known were good friends of mine and they were pretty cool. Aimless seems ok for an old fart too. |

Lawyers by a land slide. This country isn't in the mess we are because of shitty 2nd hand cars.
Criminal defense attorneys should share the sentancing for their clients when they are guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt and they waste tax payers time and money for filing bs appeals.. People who defend child rapists and murders in the face of overwhelming evidence are plain old shit heels. To sit there and try to spin it into something of channeling from 12 angry men is absurd and nothing but a scum bag piece of shit would do such a thing. Think ACLU. Think all the legal wrangling for voter fraud in the Kennedy election. Look at those punks who defended the original Black Panther party. Look at the POS who was all over Sandusky honestly and purposely trying to set him free. Fuck lawyers with a bent rusty knife. |

All my needed insurances (health, life, auto, home, I'm sure there's more) as a whole, cost more than my home, including electric, natural gas, phones (including cell) maintenance, improvements and property taxes. Auto expenses including payments, gas, maintenance and of course depreciation (what a worthless *investmant*) also does not hold a candle to the cost of insurance.
I'll take "why does half of my income go to insurance?" Alex for $100. Car salesman don't hold a candle to lawyers. I read somewhere, lawyers long long ago were viewed so negatively they were not allowed to live within the "city" limits. They are all part of the scam known as .gov, probably a bigger scam than religion, while cars contribute to the economy scam (and one I don't mind playing with). I'll spar w/a car salesman over a lawyer any day, a car salesman only talks out of 2 sides of his mouth. </soapbox> |

The knee-jerk lawyer hate would be comical if it wasn't so dangerous. Nearly every lawyer I know is honest, hard working, truly wants to do well for his clients and does not push silly legal theories but makes grounded legal arguments. Some are scum, but certainly no more than any other profession and less than in many businesses, such as sales.

Which is why some jurisdictions have rules saying lawyers aren't allowed to turn down work no matter how distasteful it may be for the lawyer involved. People would be denied fair trials because lawyers would be afraid to represent clients charged with certain crimes, thanks to rants from poo-flinging thick-headed retards and thugs who spout off about lawyers being "shitheels" for performing a duty that is absolutely necessary for an effective ciminal justice system. The system is always weighted in favour of the defendant. That's how it should be. Your inability to understand that is your loss more than it is my concern. |
