"Parson also was a member of the singing group Hagibis, patterned after the Village People."

That ruined it for me when they mentioned that!

Hey, don't forget that the Grease Man was the original Policeman in the Village People line up. From what I understand, he quit the group because he didn't "fit" [s]in the boys[/s], in with the boys. [:D]

LOL! However, the Greaseman was not in the Village People. He used to say that as part of some of his bits. I met him once when he was still in DC (DC101). It's not him!  His real name is Doug Trech (not sure about the spelling on the last name). He IS a big muscular type of guy though.

RIP Nino Greasemanelli! I wish they hadn't kicked him off the air. He was by far the funniest shock-jock of all time. Stern is only slightly entertaining in comparison.

Where is the Grease Man these days anyway? I used to listen to him all the time, but he's not on SoCal radio anymore.

And you're right... he beats Stern, Lykis, all of 'em!

He has been banished from the airwaves due to his little quip about dragging people behind pickup trucks.  That one was nothing compared to his bit about MLK's birthday becoming a holiday!

You would have to be talking about James Earl Ray Day,  Funny thing about bears they just walk out to the biggest tree in there forest reach up and rake out as much bark as they can with thier claws.  If they look up and see about 12 inches higher more claw marks, they just beat it the hell out of dodge.
