I ordered a RRA one piece scope mount from Pete-in-NH yesterday. I went to the post ofice got my money order, and then asked how much to overnight it to NH. The clerk says it will be there by 3:oo pm Thursday and that the price is $13.50. I said "fine" and sent it out. Today I go online to chec kits status and it says that the item was "misdirected" and that every effort is being made to deliver ontime!! WTF!!! I oaid for guaranteed overnight not "well maybe tomorrow, maybe not!" GOD DAMMIT!! [50]

Tough luck, but it's hardly rare.

UPS does it too.  I had a part shipped from a manufacturer in Houston, TX , drop-shipped to me at a job site in CA via UPS Red (next day).  It was properly addressed and everything.  UPS picked it up - and shipped it to KY.
