On the bright side, since the demand is there, the manufacturers should be getting more orders now, which will help keep the industry alive.

Those guns are all rusty and probably unsafe to fire in the first place. I guarantee you that the local police kept quite a few of the good ones. Why was Canada represented there?

If those BARs are not rusted through and through, I'm gonna get pissed!
|
|
But get this; Brazil has recently reversed its prohibition of civilian ownership of firearms, since violent crime skyrocketed after guns were banned.
They came to the conclusion that only law-abiding people turned in their guns, while criminals kept theirs. So, while this dog-and-pony show of a steamroller crushing guns looks bad, Brazil actually stepped AWAY from gun control. |

You people didn't think all that propaganda from the U.N. was ONLY propaganda, did you?

They need to put criminals down inplace of the guns. Or... the people that authorized that 'crushing'.
|
|
Those do look like the most rusty guns I've ever seen.
Prolly a polly-tician photo op more than anything. Still, ONE of those BAR's SHOULD be hanging over my mantle, rather than getting crushed by Jocko the Steam Roller guy. |

What a waste. Those weapons should be collected and distributed to the needy like food baskets. Being poor shouldn't mean you can't own a gun.

Greece used to be a center for private enterprise, especially shipping and smuggling [:D]. I'm sure people here have read Taki's wonderful columns in the NY Press Daily and Spectator (British version). He's by far one of my favorite writers. I wonder what happened to the British (and Canadians) as well....liberal democracy destroyed them I guess. themao [chainsawkill] |

I don't know why they didn't just export them to the U.K., where there is no street crime 'cause guns are illegal. [rolleyes]

lib-Who would "buy that for a dollar" |

Anybody ever seen the receiver of a BAR up close? The thing is a solid 10 pound block of steel, ain't no steamroller out there that could destroy a BAR receiver. Me thinks that we could just replace the furniture and maybe the barrels and have perfectly functional automatic rifles.

I think I might be able too use some of those lowers!lol!
Those Canadian liberal's from the polit bureau seem to be getting some ideas. How long til we here in Canada are subjected to the same sickening display? |
