I almost didnt get past the Britney Spears photo, but was able to find the poll and vote "no".
Whay is really bad about this type of poll is that the choice is ONLY "tougher" gun laws, but thats OK in Florida because if the laws (the way I remember them) were any more lax, a CCW would not need paperwork. I havnt lived there in awhile, so I might be wrong. |

They changed the poll. I don't see a link to the last poll's results. No surprise....

Didn't Charley Reese write for the Sentinel? Damn, I miss his column.

They must not have liked the direction the other poll was going. |
|
Am I missing it?? The only poll I see is about someone taking over the fire department. No other signs of a gun-related poll. It must not have tunred out like they wanted.
|
|
Here's what I wrote back to them in their "Feedback" form-
"What happened to the poll about stricter gun laws?? Why did you take it down so quickly? Did you not like the way it was panning out? It's sad that the media (your paper included) no longer endorses the truth. If there is a truth that you do not agree with, you quietly ommit it. Thank you for being so honest." Yeah, like they'll pay any attention to me. |

I just went and clicked on their little link for the question, "Do you think Eatonville Mayor Grant's idea to let Orange County take over the fire department is a good one?", to find out their position. They're for it so I voted NO![:D] Let's kill that one also! Unless you guys in Orlando are for it of course. I just think it be funny to kill every poll they put up be voting opposite of their position. Ought to drive them crazy! |

Here was their reply-
"We change our polls daily. Sincerely, Kris Hey Senior Producer, News OrlandoSentinel.com" Dumbasses |
