Any Fly Fishermen here?

I'll be going up to Vermont at the end of Augest and was wondering if anyone new of any EASILY ACCESIBLE areas of the Battenkill River or any tributaries/smaller creeks in the area?

EDITED TO SAY: I'll be staying around Manchester. I'll only be there for 3 days so easy accesibility is the key.

Haven't done any angling (how smug) in VT, but have done lots elsewhere.
I'd call a shop and get some advice from a local in the know.  You'll probably want to stop in anyway.

Been about 6 years since ive fished up there, so i cant remember any access points.  What i can recommend is, Bead head nymphs and wolly buggers.  They are the go everywhere fly.  Stop at a shop around there and get some flies to match the local hatch. Again, i have forgotten what is up that way.  But remember those 2 flies, and everything else will fall into place
