Some will think the correct answer is "no", and some will think "yes" is correct, with exactly the same thought and opinion in mind.

"Courage is the complement of fear. A man who is fearless cannot be courageous. (He is also a fool.)” - Robert Heinlein |

This may sound hokey but back when I first started as an LEO I started working myself into a frenzy as part of my getting ready for work every day. I have a ritual I go through and by the time I get in my patrol car I have convinced myself that no man can beat me. I will always win no matter how many times I'm shot, stabbed or hit. It has worked for me so far. I have been in a lot of shit in the last 23 years and have been injured many times, but I always win. Funny thing is that I am very laid back when not at work and don't let things or people get to me.

"I fear no man - But I fear you."
"No you don't...but you should." |

Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery But Today is a gift; That is why it is called the Present. |

I love my father, and he's a great guy.
But at 70 years old I still fear that old vet, cause I know no matter how sore he is, he could still royally kick my ass, and do things to me I didn't know existed. |
|
I would say I fear no man (they can bleed like me), but I try exreamly hard to never underestimate anyone.

I probobly feel some fear but I am also confident that I would beat down 99% of guys and the other 1% half the time.

I thought I was afraid of someone once, but it turns out it was just heartburn.

he looks like a stereotypical gay porn actor in that outfit |

I fear bears and packs of coyotes (I jog in the woods in the evening). I usually carry my .40USP. Probably unjustified, but I fear nonetheless.
|
|
I fear stuff.
Anyone that doesn't is either a liar or stupid. |
|
Fear prolongs the lives of those smart enough to be afraid.
The term "Foolhearty" applys to all those to stupid to not have fear. |

There are people I wouldn't fuck with. I have walked away from fights(taking a shitload of shit talking for it) but I would have been arrested if I had acted.
That being said.... Fuck with my dog, I kill everyone |

When you go into one knowing you're going to win, you're gonna win. When you're not absolutely confident you're going to win or think you shouldn't be doing that, then you get your ass handed to you. You can see the hesitation in the guys who lose the MMA matches on TV. |

Not a chance. Except bull riders. They are tough as fuck and anything you think you can do to them, a bull has already done to them and they are still there

Fear is useful. As are many emotions. It's your ability to go beyond the emotion and focus that determines who you are.
