Had a relative that had some serious health issues over the past few year, got kinda better, but over all still going down hill...so about a few months ago he gets a "powered parachute" or "powered powersail" so the other day he takes it out to fly around and he crashes into some trees and that resulted in killing him.

mom and i talked about this when he got the machine, and we both had a feeling this is how he was going to die.

One of my favorite high school teacher's husbands got diagnosed with lung cancer. A few months later he was headed down to Mexico for a bucket-list fishing trip with a couple of his buddies. He collapsed in the departing terminal and just never woke up

100% agree. I did my Paramedic clinical rotation in one here and it seemed a fate worst than death.

Not all nursing homes are bad. I worked in one for a couple years.

One of my brothers passed away doing something on his bucket list. He was a traveler...loved to travel and see the world. On his list was a grand world tour starting in the east and going west visiting as many different countries as he could. Unfortunately his trip was cut short. He passed, unexpectedly, in his sleep in Kathmandu Nepal. From his writings, he loved it there. Apparently he had picked up some sort of soil-born illness somewhere in Southeast Asia that he didn't realize he had.
