They are nuts. I once ran 5 miles in full Swat gear and will never attempt it again. It took me 2 weeks to recover. work boots are not Aasics.

Out of curiosity, which Hospital were they sent to after this was over?  Don't they carry 50 or 75 pounds of gear?  At least they had their own oxygen supply...heh.

Yikes!
By the way, its not oxygen, just compressed air, so it really doesn't help much.  I'm guessing they at least ran with empty tanks.  If you look at their feet, at least they wore good shoes!

In THIS case it was probably oxygen. Dont want to see Americas' 'Heroes' gasping for air after pulling a stupid stunt like that.

If one of them had accidentally over-exerted himself to the point of death, that stunt would have cost big money.

Im not impressed.

I don't see anything other than helmets and airpacks... It made for a good show and a great publicity statement but $50 says those are just Nomex shells with the liners removed and nothing but shorts underneath.

Not a lot of weight there people.

seb127, your load was much more and they only went 6.2 miles.

Sorry.

I'm a big fat guy, and just seeing that photo made me break-out in a sweat.

It STILL doesn't look like a refreshing afternoon walk =)
