So, I am at work, and get a request to sit in the dunk tank (no, not drunk tank) at the company picnic outside since I am upper management. I go do my 45 minutes and as I was leaving to go home and change, I see some activity off on the far corner of a field next to the casino. I drove over and found it to be one of the Tribal Council members and some other guys setting up fireworks for the display. They invited me back to watch the show from right there that night.

I arrived back around 9 and helped finish wiring and loading the shots.

One of which was an [b]18 inch[/b] mortar shell that weighed [b]80 pounds![/b]

After it was set up and ready they asked if I would like to help light some of the shots that were not to be fired electronically. Hell yes says I.

We lit road flares and headed to the back row of tubes. and started shooting the things off and reloading them and shooting more. Not sure how many we fired. All the while the electronic stuff was going off all around us. What a rush.

the end result was a pretty good show that lasted over a 1/2 hour.
